The most significant decision of our lives.

For us, the decision to make a change and enter into the holiday lodge rental business was the most significant one we’ve ever made.

It all started with a relaxing week at Tallington, enjoying the scenery and the peaceful atmosphere. When we returned to our Leicestershire home, we suddenly felt like something was missing. Despite having lived there for 15 years, it just didn’t seem as special as it once did.

Over the course of our stay at Tallington Lakes, we discussed various options and eventually came to the conclusion that we needed a change. We decided to leave our long-standing careers – me, after 13 years with Slimming World, and JJ, after 30 years in finance – and pursue a new path.

We put down a deposit on two plots, that we discussed with the Tallington sales office, and began planning for our exciting new future in the holiday lodge rental business.
