The Whistlestop is a traditional pub with a large horseshoe-shaped bar surrounded by railway memorabilia, hence their name.
Located before the Tallington level crossing, it is open daily from noon, with a delicious breakfast served on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 11:30am.
They have everything for the whole family to enjoy, including quizzes and open mic nights. There is also an open play area for the kids, and it’s dog friendly.

Situated at Tallington Lakes, just 200m from our lodges, the Lakeside Bar and Restaurant offer a selection of meals with a lakeside view and plenty of entertainment throughout the year. Events include live music, quiz and bingo nights, and pool and darts competitions.
We highly recommend trying their amazing carvery, served every Sunday 12pm – 4pm, where you can enjoy a selection of meats with all the trimmings. Always a good idea to book a table.
