Windows are over-rated.

What a great day! It is with great excitement that both lodges have finally arrived on site after a long wait. To ensure that the safe arrival of these precious cargoes, the windows were securely boarded up during transit, especially since they were coming all the way from Wales. But rest assured, they have arrived in excellent condition.

Now that they are safely situated, the first order of business is to begin the window installations. We are grateful to have excellent Tallington chaps who will be creating the decking that will surround these magnificent lodges. We are also very appreciative of the patience shown by Award Leisure, which is the company installing the British Hot Tubs Westwoods. They have been waiting in the wings, eager to get started.

The lodges arrived fully furnished although we decided to upgrade the beds, to ensure our guests would get a good night’s sleep. The Bensons for Beds sales representative almost fell off her chair when we asked to buy 6 beds. Yes, six! We also decided to change the dining suite with a matching coffee table. The only challenge was that they were on a 6 week lead time and would arrive a few days before our first guests were due.

We are looking forward to the next steps in this exciting project.
